How to Attach Your Images Inline
1) Resize your image so the longest side is no more than 800px, you can do this in Photoshop under Image - Image size and choose the height as 800px for Portrait orientation pictures, with 800px as the width for landscape orientation. You can refer to this thread for more info on resizing pictures.
![]() 2) Start a new thread or click reply, below the form where you enter your text, locate the 'Manage Attachments' button - Click this button. ![]() 3) After you click the 'Manage Attachments' button, a pop-up will appear. If it doesn't check any pop-up blocking software or configuration your browser may have. Click the browse button and locate any files you wish to upload, then click the 'Upload' button. ![]() 4) You will briefly see the text: Uploading File(s) - Please Wait - following this your file will have been uploaded (as long as it's within the defined limits) 5) If you have uploaded the wrong file, or wish to attach a different version simply open the "Manage Attachments" pop-up and click the remove button next to the attachment you wish to delete. 6) You can now close the popup and proceed back to your post, in the posting dialogue look at the top row of icons and locate the paperclip icon, click the paperclip icon to list the attachments you have just uploaded, select the place in the post you want to put the attachment, and then select the filename from the list. ![]() 7) In the post it will show something like this: ![]() You can use the preview button to check it worked ok, that's basically it. Have fun! It also really helps to number your images if you want to get comments and feedback. Images must be 800px or smaller, below 400kb and no more than 5 attachments per post.
