#2 for me
#4 the tiang spoil a bit :D

Do those pipes function like the flags on a downhill snow slalom?

Looks exciting, nice capture.

Haven't heard about this kind of events, if there's any more do add them to the Calendar (http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/calendar.php) please.

Yes. The tiang is part of the game. There are 2 colors; red and green, represent whether they should go thru with or against current.

I tried not to include the tiang, but then it will be only whitewater canoeing -- does not reflect the actual thing. In addition, the tiang is positioned in such that there is the actions are -- the most difficult to maneuver.

My friend and I were there to shoot Chamang Waterfall but the water was a bit murky due to drizzle/rain on hilltop. However, this event comes to a rescue where our visit there not totally wasted.

This is an event under MAKSAK where they are in training session before the selection of National Team, if not mistaken from 6-9th May at the same venue.

have u tried Sg. Sedim, Kulim?
If i'm not mistaken, got Class IV rapid that can cause serious injury if not done properly.
i've done half-course which only have Class I & II rapids.
