Both are my dad's. I only use film on the Elan 7E as it's EOS :D
Taken with 400D, 17-40 f/4L USM, Tripod, D.I.Y. softbox and 2 lights
Some editing done in Photoshop CS2, nothing major, just curves and levels, saturation upped a bit, clone stamp a bit here and there.
Exif is intact.
I'm only 14 and a beginner learning photography so C&C would be great and much appreciated :)
I have a soft spot in my heart for the Canon A-1. It was the first SLR I used and I taught myself about shutter speeds, aperture and exposures with it. It is arguable the most advance SLR in its days and it took years before Nikon came up with similar technologies.
Oh, I do believe the shutter speed dial on the Canon A-1 is the grand-daddy of all command dials. Canon A-1's shutter speed dial is a slim dial operated with just one finger, in an era when all shutter speed dials are massive ones that required both a thumb and finger to turn. It has superb handling but it failed garner a big following due to its reliance on batteries.
Jyi, it looks like your dad has a nice unit. Pity it is missing the grip.

Er...Jyi? Can sell them to me?
Yes, the A-1 is quite an advanced camera. Alan, actually there's a small chip near the dial but I just clone stamped it off in this photo.
Beyond, sorry, not for sale la. Not even mine :)
