hi guys....

just got this lense AF Nikkor 60mm 1:2.8 D (borrowed) from a friend...use this lense with d40x body...cant use the auto focus, using manual focus while takin this pixs... have to climb a tree to snap that spider (i think its a bit out of focus)..... c&c are much appreciated....:D

p/s: this lense are used to scan documents to produce microfilm, since the machine are not been used @ my office i try to use this lense for my own sick pleasure... huhu.....:P

Good thinking and use of available resources - reminds me of those old days when I chopped up a broken pair of binoculars and use the end part as a closeup lens !!!

Some comments on your pix - I like your composition and the way the subject fills the frame.

A fair bit under-exposed on bot shots but easily resolved by using flash or adjusting in fotoshop.

The main weakness is, as you said, the lack of sharpness. But then this is what every macro sifu goes through in the beginning. Don't let that worry you too much. All it needs is just more practice on manual focusing and you'll be good in no time.

i'll try to post more macro pix soon....

its challenging to do macro... have to controll ur breath n stuff....

still learning....:D
