Just my 2cents worth.....

If you're gonna edit in Photoshop....what's the point using film? Might as well use a DSLR.

You should show us your original image from film so that it's better to learn from our mistakes.

adyzul, ur comment made me thought of something. Remember those days where ppl used to shoot film? Even back then, they do have methods similar to our now modern photoshop. Dodging, Burning, and etc.

Reason why I touch up my film scans with modern tech is because...I dunno how to create a master print just like the good old days. Anyway, I ll love to share with u guys the pics without touchup. Direct scans.

But u guys may just say in the end..Film is just now good enuff, film is not sharp enuff, film waste of money and etc. What I can share is, what kind of aperture and what kind of shutter speed those pics are taken. Also info of whether it was available light or studio light.

I believe I did mentioned that the pics were pP-ed. And I did give details like colour balance to correct the skin tone, some Noise Ninja-ing to reduce the amount of noise ( it can be used to smoothen the skin too by the way) and of course, my fav, Levels (to contrast the pic).

I do not intend to post ori files coz somehow , I have this kiasu attidude of an almost perfect pic in mind. I want to post pics that I m happy with. If I m not happy with it , why post in the first place.

In the end of the day, I would like to say, I not a master photog but rather, I m a hobbyist. Mistakes of mine for film shots would most like be Underexposed or Overexposed. Till then, I too learn from others. Thanks for ur comment adyzul. We TT next time k? Show u the ori pics then, Only u ar? And then, make sure u dun laugh k? Cheers!

I love the colour tone and dynamic range of these pics, they are beautiful.

I don't care if they are PPed or not, the end result matters not the process.

Good idea on the A4 paper. The window is on the left of her. The ceiling light is above her. Yesterday was abit gloomy. So..Less light compared to the first shoot. Was trying to find something to reflect light. The thing is..I cant get someone to hold for me. Else..Bocor rahsia..Kekekek

Hey, I PP my film shots too. I get the best of both film dynamic range, tone and the convenience of digital editing. No worries :)
