i always try to do black black background, but just cannot get it right...

You can select a darker background, or use the higher shutter with small aperture like f16 with flash. Try it. :)

still using my Panasonic Lumix FZ30 with +24 Macro Filter... :? very very not easy to shot... :p

problem with panasonic lumix... instant noise above ISO200. :p

Ah good effort then with Panasonic super noise, perhaps you can mask out the background and try Neat Image or Noise Ninja though.
