Took this images at the same location but at different time.. looking at this two images reminds me of how fortunate i am not having to pickup empty cans to earn a few miserable ringgit just enough to eat for that day.. :(

#1 An old man holding a bag of empty cans..

#2 An old man holding the hand of his lovely wife..

Thanks.. Testing out new toy.. well i must say i'm happy with the result.. even though it'll be nice to own the 70-200 F2.8 IS but my budget only allows me for the F4 IS version.. and that involves tying up my pants for a couple of months and a couple of months more to go.. hehe..

there are a lot of distractions on the background.
i guess if u encounter the same situation again, u could try recompose waist or chest down shot. in this case, i think it would work well.

OR......

you buy 70-200mm f/2.8 and get the creamy & delicious bokeh! :D

thanks for the suggestion, will try that out if i encounter similar situation

let me use the f4 to learn first, then i'll consider getting f2.8 based on this few factors..

1. if i think i can handle the f2.8 weight for a long period of time :?
2. if i think i can handle the DOF of the 2.8 (missed focus even with the f4) :D
3. if i think i can tie my pants for a few more months to get the f2.8
