This lil itsy bitsy spider is almost 1.5 cm long, from back foot to the front foot.
He's so transparent, that after flashing him, I can see his backbone and stomach sac !!!:0:0
Could only shoot his under thorax section, as he built his web next to the link fence. You can just make out the chain-link fence in pix 03.
01 - check out his bones and stomach sac

02 - OMG - he's got armpit hairs....

03 - In the glory of his web

ps : pix 01 and 02 shot with SP90 plus Hoya +3 closeup filter, pix 3 at 1:1 with just SP90 only.
No cropping, just curves, usm and re-size for the web.

Thanks for the comments.
Honestly I don't know the id. I only became seriously involved with macros after I got my SP90 around Jan 2008, mucho thanks to a donation from Magnum. :P

thats a very uncommon shots that I see for spider. Very nice and the luminated leaf and a slight part of its legs gives a nice effect to it.
Good stuff!

Yep, this is a very common spider. See it almost weekly in my garden, loh.
But this guy loves dark dark places, so it's hard to spot.
Yup, this spider is quite common and usually found in wet area. But don't mistaken with another species- L. celebesiana whose abdomen is not as spectacular. Hope klguy wouldn't mind me posting a sample of the other species here. Note the abdomen lacks the curve of L. decorata.

Nice shot, Reds.
BTW you're most welcome to add on : I'm always interested in seeing other people's shots. If not, how then to learn and improve.
And yes, your species can be found in Bukit Gasing. Lotsa there.
