I don't usually do black and white as I really enjoy the colours in life..but this picture was naturally lacking colour, but intense in feeling which led to a contrasty B&W conversion.

Feel free to let me know what you think.

The beautiful part for me is the background. Lovely. But the foreground takes the attention away from it. But this is a "dramatic" still if it's for a movie promo. :D

it's like the foreground going to combine with background for a no good thing to happen:rolleyes:

Dramatic! The image did disturb me a little! :D

IMHO, the ships and the building in the left kinda distracts the eye and reduces the overall effect of the ominous 'feel' of the photo.

Thanks!

It's at Perhentian Besar facing the South-China sea.

Thanks noordin, I like both the foreground and the background, but in a way the foreground is a little too striking.

Thanks :) I like the ships though, gives a sense of scale.

I just wish I hadn't clipped the rock at the left..

ST, any SFX on foreground waters? Prefer it without .... it's dramatic all right :D

Nope, just a long exposure so it's very smooth.

Very dramatic. Wouldn't want to be a fisherman going out to sea that day. Less foreground for me though. A bolt of lightning would have made it awesome.

Fantastic!

probably more contrast or darker could be better. My taste. :rasta:
