i can see it is placed on top of a turned over drinking glass :D:D..think if u put it in front of a dark blue wall or background, it will look better

@Alan_drg: Background is just plain A4 paper...
@Gandalfius: Yeap, indeed it's a drinking glass. Initially put him on white paper but he wet the paper and start chewing the paper. Then have to put him on the 'stage' to make him behave.
@nfariz8: I do not like snail at all but after starting macro photography, the most yucky creature can be very cute at times.... of course I didn't keep him as pet. Just put him back into the drain he belong with a bunch of leaves as reward. :D

The snail so cute! Haha...so funny to put it on the glass...sure slimy after that too...ewww :D
I use to hate spideys...but after looking at other ppl's spidey pics and taking their pictures now....I fell in love with their eyes :P

Nice. They'll look better if you tweak the contrast a little. #2 the focus should be on the tips of the long tentacles imho :)

@om: by focusing on the tentacle, the body and head will be blur i think, will the image interpreted differently?
