The Malaysia International Aerospace

Adventure 2007 (MIA 2007) will be held in Kuala Lumpur from 5th June to 7th August 2007.

The main attraction of the aerospace adventure is the US$2 billion Russian BURAN Space Shuttle, Measuring 36 metres with a wingspan of 24 metres, the BURAN weighs 105 tonnes and can be blasted into space in less than 60 seconds. The presence of the BURAN offers a sure success for the show making a historical first for Malaysia as its host.

Main organiser Best Venue Sdn Bhd has designed an exciting and eventful programme – making the MIA2007 Adventure the largest space touring show in the world. The show will take up an exhibition floor space of 200,000 square feet!

With so many interesting and exciting exhibits on show, the MIA2007 Adventure promises an educational and rewarding showcase of space, packed with fun for everyone in the family!

Some FAQ

1. Is it the real Buran or it is just a replica?
- This is the genuine article, we are bringing the real space shuttle ‘Buran’ to Malaysia

2. Where is the location?
- The location is at old Terminal 1 of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang.

3. What are the opening hours for the event?
- From 10am to 10pm and the last entry is at 8pm.

4. During the event, may I take photos? Are cameras/camcorders allowed inside the venue?
- Sorry, photography and all recording equipment including mobile phones with camera features are prohibited.

5. What is the ticket price?
- Adult is RM 48 and Children (between 3 to 12 years) is RM 28.
Special discount for early bird (valid only until 30th April 2007) – RM 40 and RM 25 respectively for Adults and Children

darn ruskies .....well..Buran never did actually went to space unlike NASA.

Not too sure. I think the space shuttle will not be in the building, chances of outdoor photography might be permittable.

Need further info and confirmation.

BTW, I am sure photography is allowed for Final 8 :D
