Complete the entry form and send it with your donation of RM10 (cheque/money order) payable to "Persatuan SLE Malaysia" and send it to the PSLE office (Address Below) with a minimum donation of RM10 BEFORE May 5th. Alternatively bank in your donation to: Persatuan SLE Malaysia, CIMB Account No: 1266-0000638-054 and fax the completed entry form and bank-in slip to fax no: 03-7957 0407 or e-mail to pslemhq@gmail.com.

Pictures must be taken between May 1st-7th and submitted before May 8th at 5pm. The selected pictures will be exhibited in 1-Utama from May 10th-18th.

Another Q:

Rules No.11 on the form states that we can submit multiple entries as long as the entries are accompanied by a minimum of RM10.

Do we need to say how many entries we intend to submit by April 30th? Or can we pay RM10 by April 30th and then when we submit the photos, we pay the extra donation for extra submission?

i tried that too...even went to maybank atm...but mbb and cimb = no no...so bunny hopped to cimb branch n banked in the money at the cash deposit machine...i went to the klsentral branch....

Min requirement as stated in the terms and cons is 5 mega pixels... NOT 5MB...

If you shooting jpg, just send it in as is... If you shoot raw and have a cam 5megapixel or more, just convert it direct to jpg and send it in.

i actually shot at 10MP but i can downsize it to around 5-6MP right?

10MP jpg shud only be arun 2MB file.

Although we put 5MP, higher better, less chance of image quality loss. As winning pics will be printed at S10R size.

whoa..my 10mp file is around 4.7MB lol..

UPDATE: i just resized it to 3008x2014 (6MP) and its now 3.8MB hahaha i shall try uploading it later :)

I would personally like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers and supporters for making this event a success.

A special thanks to:
• Kim for all the PR work, helping out during the day and on Friday nite preparing the photo's for the exhibit
• Joyce for coming to my office and home on Fri to prepare the exhibits and helping out during the event
• Orionmystery for coming to my office on friday and during the event to help out
• JeffWong for helping out on Friday at my office
• Leslie for helping out on Friday nite and during the event
• ShaolinTiger for helping out Fri nite and during the event
• and all the others that helped out.

So far all in, we have raised around 8K for PSLEM (Entrance fees, personal donations, auctioning of Nikon D40x - sold for RM2100, and pledges for the hair shaving). We will know final figures after the end of the exhibitionin 1 Utama in the 18th when we tally the blind auction for the photo's.

We got some good coverage fro the media, plus the Health Minister Dato' Liow had promised government support and RM250,000 in funds to set up a Registry for Lupus Patients which was something the PSLEM has been fighting for a long time.

Lastly, thanks to all those who participated in the "Anything Butterfly" Contest and congratulations to all the winners. I will post up all winning pics later.
