Directions

Normally I go through the LDP highway until you reach the end (passed by 1U & Curve), pay the toll, and turn left at Kepong. Go straight (passing by Ijok, Bukit Rotan) until you reach Assam Jawa. Take the right turn to Kuala Selangor (left turn is to Klang). Just go pass Kuala Selangor town, Pasir Penambang, Tanjung Karang, and you will reach Sekinchan. The paddy fields are quite obvious from the sides of the main road.

Total estimated time to arrive: 1 1/2 hours

Preparations

1. Bring water (An absolute must!)
2. Bring mosquito repellent (Also an absolute must!)
3. Bring your camera, your lens of choice, flash if you have, tripod, fully charged batteries, and empty cards.
4. Bring a small towel to wipe your sweat
5. Dress comfortably with protection from the sun
6. Enough money to eat, drink and pump petrol

Aiyaa....... One of my favourite places to go. I'm flying out to Tawau/Simpadan on the 3rd for another week long shoot. I'm gonna be flat out if I join you guys. Two bad weekends for me. Anyway we should leave from Sg Buloh at 7.30am, should be a good time, reach there for b'fast then shoot shoot shoot till lunch.

From the Sg Buloh rest station, take 1st exit at Sg Buloh toll --> turn left and watch up for signboard to Kuala Selangor/Ijok. There are sufficient signboards along the trunk road so dun worry getting lost. Soon u reach Kuala Selangor --> Tg Karang --> Sekinchan. Watch up for the BP petrol station on your right soon u reach Sekinchan.
There is another alternative road just to avoid traffic jam at the Sg Buloh toll. From the Sg Buloh rest station, take the 3rd exit (to Shah Alam, Guthire highway). Watch up for Kuala Selangor exit on the highway; after the exit, the next town is Ijok and follow signboard to Kuala Selangor...

It's the Caltex directly after the turning to Sri Damansara, just before the crossroads.

No toll there, just a Caltex :)

We won't be taking toll road after that, it's a trunk road to Kuala Selangor.

No it's not that one, it's on LDP just before fly-over to MRR2 and left turn to Sg Buloh.

If you are coming from Kepong then best to go into Sri Damansara, then come back out towards the U-turn on LDP, the Caltex is there.

3) Dun wear slippers (ants bite!)
4) Bring spare shirts (if getting heavy sweat)
5) Bring enough cash (for lunch and may be dinner)
