Second one is good for me - just a few small points

1) You've lost texture in the hair, be careful with your curves and contrast
2) If you are touching up get rid of the eye bags (not totally though cos it looks weird)
3) Eyes look glassy/cloudy - mask or select them and tweak them to make them brighter/clearer and sharper
4) Clear up the stray hairs
5) Make the lips slightly redder

IMHO like this would just finish it off nicely.

1) & 2) noted
3) yes, it does not look lively
4) I did but thought of leaving back some on
5) Noted your preference . yes the edited one looked more lucious

Thanks, God :D

trying out the cool feature called zoomify (http://makeup.com.my/images/photos/models/zoomify/DSC_3260a.html) feature in CS3.

The shadow on the jaw where "the shoulder meets the face" is getting a tad to dark and colorize when upping contrast.

Would mask face/skin and work on this separately than when working on hair (or protect it locally that changes don't apply there).

++++
Adding: the center hairline is overdone too, that black pudding up there looks awful...

Thanks for pointing it, yes the black patch is overdone

Pretty girl indeed! In Switzerland now and uploaded all software to PC, so ready to give it a go as well.

1) edited using Capture NX/photoshop
http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x270/egoipse/DSC_3260b4.jpg

Photoshop:
- removed skin marks using spot healing tool

Capture NX:
- set three color points into hair, brightness down, contrast slightly up; set three more points to protect skin tones.
- set single color point at lips, saturation up, brightness up, red slightly up.
- set three color points on skin tones, brightness up, contrast down, saturation up, red slightly down, green and blue slightly up.
- mask eyes using masking brush, brightness up, contrast up
- mask eyes, lips, ear ring and parts of hair using masking brush and sharpen.

Really love Capture NX, great software, lot of stuff can be done much faster and easier than in photoshop.
*****

forgot little things:
- masked ear ring with masking brush, brightness up and contrast up.
- masked eye shadows with masking brush, lowered contrast, brightness up, faded effect in using opacity to liking

2) ear ring brightened, eye shadows reduced
