Spiderman 3 - Your Thoughts?

Everyone watched already? Just managed to catch it over the weekend.

Can't say I was impressed...as I went in with low-expectations and it fulfilled them. Everyone I knew who had seen it said it was pretty bad.

And sadly, even as a spidey fan, I have to agree.

A kid told me, the spidey is lousy, why he need helper to fight the bad guys! So lousy!

Yes, he is lousy, there were some kids sitting on my front row, I saw them were quite bored, and started to chit-chat about something else, especially at the middle part, when peter parker dating with the girl (cant remember her name), go to jazz bar and dance....what is that???

Just give me back the old spidey, a good one, and fight the big bad guys kick their axx! That's all I need.

Something I don understand, it's a Sony's movie, but why they use Nikon in the movie, not Sony Alpha...haaaa, the only reason I can think of is, Sony makes big money from selling ccd to nikon..haaa

im not fans of spidey, but then i love this movie.

this movie is not showing how super hero he is, it is showing the other side of the super hero. Beside as a super hero, he also have his life, have his feeling of a normal person, I beliave this movie show it all, that's y it is boring at some point, but this bring us get to know more deep inside spiderman and how he become a better superhero.

i found that the usual superhero movie are quiet boring with the same stuff all over again, but this time spiderman make it different.

I do agree with JackJack... It shows the softer side and needs for being a superhero are the same for normal human being like us... Only thing I don really understand is that WHY they drag the love struggle part till several scene... It is abit too much when we are going for action movie at the end the romance is more than that...

Overall of the movie, I think it should be on only the average side... Nothing stunning nor overwhelming...

:D For the DSLR part... I saw Canon(used by Peter Parker), Nikon(used by Venom) and a compact camera(not sure the brand but I guess its a Oly)...

Correct me if I am wrong....

Venom was using a D40 with 55-200mm VR, his compact was a Leica D-LUX I think, later I saw a D50 too with kit lens.

hollywood these days are turning movies into MCD's & pepsi..

sequels after sequel yawn....running out of ideas ? or prob trying to create a cult followers

I think the next coming villain should be the Lizard, cause the professor is in this current movie.

Venom made such a short appearance, more like a guest star.

Would love to see Sandman in his usual defeat, add water and cement = concrete. :D

too short or little of venom.. i hated the love affairs part in the movie.. not only in spider 3, but spider 1 and 2 as well.. purposely drag the movie long until 2 and half hours.. dissappointed.. somemore they said will be doing part 4.. pls lah.. dun toture us again..

P/S: bad ending.. goblin turned good to help spidey n he just left sandman to go free and then what? allowing him to rob more banks to help his little girl?

Always thought it was overrated, better off going to watch 28 weeks later. :P
