aik, what happened to their stretched sedan signature like previous perdana? now is more or less like Sentra or something. agree with noordin. that one need bigger wheel to increase the pimp-factor. :D

Got to see the real thing.... My personal opinion is that the present Perdana is an OK car (love the engine, hate the grille) but terribly overdue for a change.

engine nothing special... if you want true V6 or even V8 muscle cars.. got to OZ... (sorry Holden Fanboy:P)

The gearbox was the major concern with the Perdana... really piece of crap... the model i had anyway...

good economy couldn't directly yield to good salary....but more of a richer bosses only...;)

not sure if its the proton's designers who deserve the blame...
i've seen some of their prototypes...seriously quite impressive.

it's the decision makers fault (BOD, MD and Govt) maybe, that not daring enuff to invest in these ideas....biasala 'foreigners always better ' punya thinking...

these people think: bcoz they are the decision maker, nobody locally can think better than them. If got, they feel threathen and just shuv it!!

that's why many of our brainchild choose to sell ideas overseas...

Look at what Perodua did to Daihatsu - oso same case mah! (Especially MyVi which is a DIRECT copy from Daihatsu BOON, for instance :P:P:P)

Anyway, low budget ppl like me what to do leh?? No choice liao lerr.....
