Guidelines on posting/attachment of pictures

I may have overlooked it in my excitement, but might as well ask. Are there guidelines on file size, type of file, dimension limitation(s) and number of pictures we may post? As well as how to attach the pictures in order for others to see, instead of having to click on the link?

Oh, and avatars as well, please.

file size limit was 2mb set last nite... to test speed on a loaded server

everything else same as other vB run forums.'

We have yet to set the limits, this forum is not really open to public yet, this is still testing phase.

Most likely we will limit images to 800px at the widest side to suit people with resolutions of 1024x768 and upwards.

This can be discussed later.

2M is too big. got to limit it down below 250K I guess

800 pixels is good enuff. too big is diff to view unless you have a big monitor

An additional question.

Frequently I could not quote an attachment that is posted in SA's server. Whenever I quote a particular image that I want to highlight, I get this:

Any pointers? TQ. :)
