Didnt have much expectations for this place but never expected it to be ..errr..take a look for yourself..:P

Oh Yea forget abt the crap stories of renting boats and hitting into the inner layers...
1) The mud is deep, estimated 2-3 metres in depth
2) You have to concentrate in this area only... with the pillow tube in sight..+ some other conditions imposed by the company. ( Forget abt the company...) Go lurking around Sabak Bernam, Pasir Penampang and other areas also much better.

You can see the actual "Mangrove forests are far away" there are snakes there, forget abt lurking in there. do it at your own risk. YOu need a sampan to get in there. Caveman and Well2k already confirmed the existence of slithery friends. Buaya ? Dont listen to crap stories, its not a river bed.. buaya's dont live by the seashores.

Other than that... the fishing villages, nearby Kampungs and Paddy Fields offer more exciting and interesting subjects.:D :D

Intentionally underexposed all pics.. caused losing my mood there..

Chow thats what i call mangrove i dont mind renting the boat even for RM50 but not for this place lar...see below again.. we finished walking around the place which can only support a maximum of 15 people the most....

We only spent 1 hour there.. and if the sun is 100% up... you will burn and die :P no shelter nothing. Hotter than paddy field sun

If there are 200 people on that day coming.. then the 185 people will have to yumchar and wait for their turn :D or go other places nearby to shoot and come back later.

Ok here's my honest opinion there is nothing there but a bunch of Man Growned baby mangrove's , well pic says it all.

We only spent 1 hour there.. and i will not be bothered to shoot that place again period. No interest in the contest or the prize or anything by that company.

But for other places nearby i strongly urge everyone to venture instead :D :D

You will be much happier unless you are thinking of winning some $$$ from the contest

Sigh, ahchow, your pic is very very very nice - reminds me of the time we spent at Temenggor on the liveaboard.

Even Langkawi has better mangroves
