Had a shoot with Nadia today.........she was simply mesmerizing. Been shooting with film previously. And I can frankly tell you that one of my favorite styles is cross processing. Been wanting to do this on digital.....until I met with Nadia. She's just perfect for this.
Enjoy!

Sure no problem mate. Only managed to shoot a couple of shots. Wanted to get a magazine cover shot feel from her. Hence the tighter crop but the cross process is just a personal taste actually.
Hope u guys like it!

Thanks shahrin.....didn't shoot much that day. Was there to show them the different types of lighting set ups. Namely loop lighting, high key and rembrandt. Well here's another one.

It would have even more feel if u were there with me mate. Those pictures was intentionally done soft.....as per instructions by the clients. I feel its kinda go with the mood as well....especially the 2nd pic.

Haiya........Sifu Jay dun flatter me too much lah. Still got room for improvement. It's not outdoor....that I leave it to you to guide me...but thanks for the compliments though...appreciate it very much...coming from you Jay.
nice skin tones..
Thanks.....the model was dark skin actually. Had to smoothen her skin once the touch up was done on her face. Didn't do anything on the stray hairs though. My bad. :(

Wah..U went shooting without me?
Haiya.......this is not a shoot 'per se' actually lah fren. I was helping a fren of mine organize a workshop on 'different kinds of lighting setup for portraiture'. He's just set up a studio, wanted my help to show him about portraiture studio lighting since I've already helped/consulted him on his studio equipments.
The workshop is for 16 of his students. Dun be angry with me hah. :run_away:

He just set up a studio and he has students...and he doesn't even know the basics of lighting?!
This is the kind of thing that gives photo industry a bad name man.
I hope he learns fast :)

Typical businessman nowadays...........looking at fast buck without considering sustainability. Hope he learns fast and do well too.
