sniped with very nice compositions. That will make the OP very jealous. It's a pity that high ISO needed to be used; the colours didn't reveal themselves as well as they would have if the lighting was better. WB not there, but I'm not complaining, because it's tough.

i say a job well done ....
in fact, i enjoy scrolling down my mouse looking through your photos, they please the eyes and more importantly your composition and shooting style + the lighting are just fine...
IMHO, you've done a great job covering the whole event as well as captured the mood of the audience and the couple... even I can feel as I was there, and that's how you've captured all the pics...
great pics, i believe you have more photos.... do share if you have the time..
congratulation to the newly wed..... happy marriage forever;
congratulation to the photographer for a job well done...
cheers :)

Thanks for the compliments Doc, Eric,
Yea...high ISO tends to flush out a bit I feel. I always try to go as low as possible on ISO. But as you can see in one shot, which was a bit dark, ISO 800 even at 1/80 was not bright enough. I was attending my friend's wedding and shot as a casual shooter, no more.
As for the WB, I tried correcting some in RAW but damage was done. The lighting there was a mixture of tungsten spots and flourescent tubes..
One issue I had with using flash was that if i filled flash, the shadows would have been bothersome. And some were shot all the way from behind the chapel or midway. My flash simply could not reach the destination. So i decided to shoot with available light, time for trial and error. I also tried to shoot from angles which the OP was not attending to. Thus i got horrible shots during the unveiling. OP was simply too close for me to get a comfortable shot without OP in it. He was using 17-40...Nvm, I told my friend that if I got any shots that were worth passing to him, i'd do so.
Hehheeee... :D
Nice shots, karheng. Keep up the good works!

Thanks Mk and Desa!
Great to know that you felt like you were there! If these photos could invoke such feelings, then I feel very glad!

Wah new 85mm f/1.8 lens is it?
I see at different points of the photo, ISO, shutter and aperture changes. What mode are you shooting in?

Thanks Alonso,
Mavik: Manual, as always...=)
But i don't know why during the unveiling, i went to set to A mode and shoot. It resulted in disastrous, no pixel peeping sort of photos!
Thus the reason i make all so small...haha
