My First on portraits, shot taken with my Canon 400D and f1.8 50mm.C&C welcome.

Learn more about combination, mixing and matcing of colours in ur pics. In the first pic the foreground is not blurred enuf to differentiate the main object.

pic 2 - tong sampah also included into the pic??!! careful with composition.
pic 1 - while the subject in focus is the heart shape pillow, you need to be careful with lightfall... the pillow front is already in the shadowed area.

Agree with Jay...maybe next time u would want her to face the light source...so as to have more control of the lighting.....thus not having underexpose or light fall off.

you are quite creative on your first try on portrait....
shoot more.... good effort, but some more practice and you'll be good :)

I believe pics were not taken with flash, hence the lightfall on the pillow is irregular?

Even though not using flash.....it shouldn't be an excuse for the the light fall off. Heard of a reflector? Or shooting from an another angle?
