It is quite noisy but still acceptable for me. However the WB is way out for my liking. Her eyes turn yellow. Btw the lighting condition must be very dim to shoot at ISO3200 and f1.8.

Noise is clearly visible in background however the overall image is sharp. Quite good shot in my opinion. A bit of editing (white balance among the things to work on) could improve the pic.
Plus a smile from the otherwise pretty lady.... ;)

Hope you don't mind, was doing a little editing:

1) Vivian endited
http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x270/egoipse/Vivian01.jpg

Quite a different image...

In capture NX:
- white balance changed
- Skin tones edited, eyes lightened, sharpened
- Background tones edited, saturation of blouse upped
- eye shadow lightened and make up around eye reduced (left some to have a more real look)
- retained shiny parts on nose to keep 3D look
- slight blur faded in on skin
- noise reduction on background
- lips slightly darker and saturation up

In Photoshop:
- clone stamp/healing tool used on skin marks
- overall sharpening

Why would anyone want to do portrait at ISO3200? The WB is all off and makes the model look sickly! :D

Because in some places use of speed light is not allowed?
Because someone want to try out ISO 3200?
Because someone doesn't like speed light pics?

Capture NX is Nikon RAW editing software. Guess Canon would have something similar....

If you shoot RAW you can adjust WB setting later on in software. Or do it manually by using white/grey/black point and adjusting RGB sliders.

So that was taken after a night out? Thought she looks a little tired...

Noise is decent enough, but it's small so can't really say. Subject is fairly well exposed so not much noise there.

Colour is way off as mentioned, can be corrected and makes quite a nice pic.

24310

Would be better from RAW :)

for me at ISO3200 can have that kind of results consider not bad already la
you not going to develop a poster size or A3 size photos, a 4R photos cant really see the noise :D

The whole point of shooting RAW is so you can correct WB and exposure..
