Wake up early morning on Saturday morning,
after surfing some web, I have a cup of coffee and nasi lemah then.
Due to quite some time didn't touch my photography,
almost forget the feel of surrounding my society & city,
so I decided to drive myself a KL trip, with my Yashica FX3.



1. Concentration - Is another way of beauty。

2. News paper seller even reading everyday, how about those exec like u & me?

5. A break, a coffee, a morning talk. A God, a old 'temple' & 24 hrs working day.

Very nice set. I love the scenes. But I feel your B&W lacks contrast.

Yup, I do agrees that the contrast not enough, however,
I think I am not get a good lighting during shooting....or,
shall I need to learn some PS skill ? (Sorry I am PS idiot).

Opsss, I don't have any portfolio like Flikr etc......
......I am looooooo profile newbie. TQ for comment !!!! :-)

Nice! Love the series. Probably need to darken some of the shadows :)

Great sets you have there... its shows that whether we have the opportunity to capture the life of KL folks.

Like #12 - unique and well framed
#11 - was just GREAT!:D

of all the pics #11 & #12 made an impact on me.
Makes me want to go street shooting too
but agree with the sifus here..the contrast is lacking..
but great composition on the 2 pics I mentioned...

Hi, thank you all Sifu's here,
as I just recovered from my another Sifu,
that the film I am using to shoot this series,
is a main problem which make the photo lack of contrast.
(Even some scene under sun light and shadow - contrasty scene)

I am using Ilford XP2 super B&W film, C41 type.
According to them, C41 developing film usually lack of contrast.
Even Kodak CN400 BW.

Anyway, Kodak CN400 BW will be a bit batter compared to XP2 super.

For sure, original B&W film will be the best choice such as Kodak T-Max,
Kodak Tri-Max, Fuji Neopan...etc.

( I personally not recommend China Lucky film.
except you can control the dork room processing.

Best regards
