I'd imagine about the same price SB-800 is now, meaning SB-800 may drop a little.

but i do think it very useful as it provide seamless flexibility.
but i'm not sure about the quality of the design tho' if that was what you meant by clumsy.

Wow, that looks like a 3" LCD display... I can read an e-book with such a big display on that flash :p

The coolest thing must be the WB settings communicated to the camera, especially when using coloured gels (I think only limited to those two).

Next to have, flash settings in picture's EXIF? :pray:

Just to share what I heard from some dealers.
SB900 RRP is RM 1995 but after a while will settle to abt RM 1800
SB 800 will remain at approx RM 1350-1400
SB600 still around RM 700-750
SB400 may be discontinued
Different price points for different choices, you get what you pay for..

A dealer told me that SB900 would be tagged at the same price as the Canon 580 EXII price which is at around 1.6k
