Thanks,i also notice that,will improve on those next time if there is a muay thai.I think end of the year,there is another muay thai going on.And it's bigger than this.Hopefully i will be in M'Sia this time,anyway more pics to update.

I used any available light there is,because during the fight we are not allow to use flash to distract any fighter's attention.Cropping yes.I did it.Noise removal?Nope...never did it.
Sorry shaolin tiger,next time will read the rules n regulations before posting anything.Thanks.

no flash is a standard rule for most sports photography :) but yeah.. some of your pix u might have did some over cropping. the pixels are not sharp

Very nice angle and composition but WB is inconsistant. Nice coverage by the way.

u must have oversharpen the pix too much. u use sharpen or unsharp mask ? should be using unsharp mask instead.
in this kind of situation where light levels are consistant, u might wanna shoot in manual with a fix shutter n apperture. btw, which mode u shooting on ?

I was using AV mode which is F3.5 on 1/200 speed.Mostly i was using AV mode because i didn't know which mode i should use in this situation.It was my first time shooting sports upclose.:boxer: What do u think?

ahh.. Av. that's why u get the overexposed and the slow shutter effect. your meter might have at times meter the wrong thing and automatically change the setting up/down.
your shutter is critical here so u might wanna use Tv or go fully M :)

:0 No wonder some of my images got overexposed.Must not repeat the same mistake again,thanks a lot magic.Glad that u told and teach me about this. :)

it was a day event,as magic said.But heard might be a bigger muay thai competition upcoming this end of year in KL.It was announce by the MC last night.Do u hear that announcement last nite when the competition was almost over,magic?

Thanks mate,actually i didn't have the media pass neither pay for the ring side tickets.I was siting at the normal seats but when i saw other photographers went down to the ring.I went down n join the crowd.:P

no wonder la, i thought how come so many media photographers, which is in fact the public with cameras.
personally i feel the match with the girls is the most exciting one, and ended so fast and bloody, better than the match in the first round when the two fighters were a bit more reserved

Hehe...some of them r not from the press.If u ask me about the match,i think that the most exciting match is when sean wright who is from scotland did have a good match with the other fighter.And it was a bloody match which is the most exciting round.Besides that i also like the match between the brazilian and singaporean.I nvr seen that brazilian fighter had any injury,it was amazed that he escape unhurt.Anyway it was a good show for us to witness the 1st time in malaysia.
