Canon 400D problem...

I jz bought my canon 400D one months ago...
recently, the camera have some problem...
the only problem is when i off my camera after shooting, I press play photo, it keep showed busy status.
After that i tried to off my camera, It showing restoring, remaining image...
even I wait long time still like that...
I need to take out my battery and put in back, after that I on my camera, press play photo, some of photos was took b4 off the camera are corrupted.
Izzit memory card problem???

When I transfered photo to my com, some photos corrupted.
That happen sometime, so it's hard to send back Canon for repair...

I agree with this, try first to change the memory card, if that not helps i'm afraid it have to go back to Canon :run_away:

it's more likely the card tht is causing the problem
i face simillar problem previously with some cheap cards..

i think most dslr won't come together with memory card. it's the shop tht sell it as a package to you.

and if your friend got a SCANDISK instead of SANDISK, then your friend got cheated :D :D :run_away:

as for the speed of the card, you don't need it very fast. unless you want it to copy fast to your pc. (you need a high speed card reader to utilise it tho)

a fast card doesn't do much different when shooting, unless you "BURST" shot alot. i have both SANDISK 50x card and KINGSTON 266X card, the only difference is when i burst shot. the pictures from buffer will write faster to the 266x card. so... unless you burst 11 continuous shot of RAW always, else a 266X card is really overkill.

It's most probably the card you're using. I format the my cards everytime I load the photos into my computer. I use SanDisk Extreme III and Extreme IV cards although Ultra IIs are already sufficient unless you use a 1D Mark III or D3 :)
