Hi all,

Just got my new closeup filter today (Got myself the Hoya +1, +2 & +4 set) and here are some result of my test. Shot with D50 w/ 18-55 (52mm) kit. C&C please :D

Can you post photos between non-filter and filtered. Just want to see the difference. Thanks.

Without the filter I can't even get it to focus.

Creative. But the contrast is not enough to bring out the subjects.

Any idea how to increase the contrast in-camera? I prefer to get the best result without photoshop.

I think only way is set to Aperture mode.

you need to bring your gears to FRIM this weekend so can ask the macro gurus there. hehe... poisoon..

i think for using a diopter, these are very good indeed. but honestly you should try outdoor shots where light is ample.

Hi,
May i know where you purchase the Hoya close-up filter set? and off course how much :-)

I am also quite interested in taking some close-up photo but cant afford to get a macro lens :-(
