Samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup) - is a Korean soup-based dish. It is basically a whole young chicken stuffed with glutinous rice and boiled in a broth of Korean ginseng, dried jujube fruit, garlic, and ginger. Samgyetang is traditionally served in the summer for its supposed nutrients, which replaces those that are easily lost through excessive sweating and physical exertion during the hot summers in Korea.

Galbi (Korean BBQ) - is a Korean dish made from beef short ribs, though it can also be made with pork ribs. It cooked on a griddle or grill. It can be seasoned or unseasoned, and in the seasoned variety, the ribs are marinated in a sauce made from fruit juice (generally Asian pear juice), rice wine, soy sauce, garlic, sesame seed oil and sugar. Most recipes contain these basic ingredients, although many variations exist, including clear marinades and spicier marinades.

NANTA - a non-verbal performance of reckless rhythms that dramatize customary Korean percussion in a strikingly comedic stage show. The typical instruments used in Samulnori (Korean traditional percussions) have been replaced with diverse drums improvised from utensils commonly found in kitchens.

I like the composition of the picture of Korean mixed rice. However, there are some clutter in the background that should not be included.

Jeju-do (Jeju Island) - the only special self-governing province of South Korea, situated on and coterminous with the country's largest island.

Mysterious Road - approximately 7km from Jeju International Airport. It is called "Mysterious Road" because if you point your car downhill and put it into N Gear, the car moves uphill instead of downhill.

Songsan Ilch'ulbong (Sunrise Peak) - a volcanic crater with vertical cliffs rises up from the shore. As the easternmost tip of Jeju Island, this area is the first to greet each day's new sun, thus earning the name of "Sunrise Peak." A hefty climb brings visitors to the top of the peak.
