Most of you guys have a dry box and am wondering how accurate is the meter calibrated and is there any resources that anyone can share for double checking purpose? You can calibrate a monitor but how do we do it with our dry box?
I have a portable meter and the difference is 20 units more than the meter reading shown by the dry box. For example, i set to the normal 42 rh on the dry box but when I put in my portable rh meter into the dry box, it shows 60 rh. Could not say at this point which gadget is right or wrong.
Meantime i am using the salt method (googled from the net here (http://exoticpets.about.com/od/herpresources/ss/hygrometer.htm)) to calibrate my portable meter and hope to get some leads again
