Thanks for sharing.

I think Penang's Bon Odori is more vibrant and interesting compared with KL. I even notice something different in their makeups and costumes.

From the pics, there seems to be much more variety in the costumes and events but I noticed that quite a number of participants are not Japanese. Very good pictures from xavier and the rest...

The festival was very crowded with sea of people and of course, photographers.
It was very hard to get a good angle.

These photos were as sharp as I wish they could be.
So, I've cheated a bit by posting smaller size to make them look sharper.
