Really nice set. Great job there!
Do number your images for easier C&C'ing :)
3, 4 and 5 for me. The rest probably a bit too central but if you'd just crop away a bit of the left, they'd much nicer.

i have been dreaming all this while for macro shooting...till recently manage to grab myself a macro lens with super great deal ...but i guess still need alot time for me to explore
Btw, can i add any canon extender for Macro lens ?
hanuman san
I am still trying to figure out why if i try to snap a very small object (e.g fly)..how come only the focus part is sharp and rest is soft ?? Do i need to use bigger appreature (e.g F8) or smaller (e.g F2.8)?
Please enlighten me sifu...

Very nice series!
Gotta love that mantis :D
FYI, when you go closer to 1:1 magnification, the DOF becomes more shallow. Smaller f would help (f16-20), but once the f is within that range, u gonna need lighting from flash to provide sufficient light.

Oh...like that mean i need tripod since shutter would be very slow even ISO boost up ?
Btw, what is the recommended shutter speed for macro shooting ? at least 1/200 ?

If you really want to get better C&C, leave the exif intact.
For close-up, you can shoot with natural lighting, but once you're close to or above 1:1, you'll need flash.
