Most of these shots are still blur, especially the last one.

Only #4 & #6 seems to have got the right focus on the eyes but it's heavily underexposed.

I will tell you those are blur again...but we won't be able to tell you why since there was no exif.

ST and Orionmystery... as I was using the ET and 50mm lens attached in front, i guess no exif info... anyway, let me suppy the EXIF manually. most of the shots here are shot with ISO100-200 / f11 - f16 / manual flash with DIY flash extender using SB600 with 1/2 (-0.3) power.

the DOF seems not enough.... just now get the LED white torch which can be tie to the lens.... can't wait to try again with f/22, hopefully the shots will turn out better....

thanks again.... your comments help me improve.

Vijay > ya lor, poor man solution. I got poison with macro, so have to wait a few months before getting SP90 + Kenko ET. This month, cannot already... already bought another flash light... ~hehehe....

:party1::party1::party1: thanks guys.

Show us your macro rig....a pic with notes..what speedlight/popup flash u use? What kind of diffuser?

Get a broomstick to stabilise the camera. Left hand hold the stick and the slr. Move your slr back and forth to focus...
