Thanks noordin. I'm not quite satisfied with the scanned photos. And I think the shop did some 'enhancement' to my photos. Now I'm looking for a negative scanner so that I can scan my negs based on my liking. CanoScan 4400F/8800FF seems to be the best option that I have right now. What to do, Nikon negs scanner so expensive. :D

For this set, I used the normal Fuji Superia 400. And I'm no master, only few months using films. I think this would be my 6th or 7th roll.

Got a few people here who are very experienced with films. Let's wait if they surface. Hehehe. :P

I have the CanoScan 4400 and I use that for normal document scanning. I don't think that's good for negative/slides. I have see the CanoScan 8800 which was used to scan the B&W negatives in last weekend's workshop, and it's so much much better.

I'm going to do some film now, more on B&W and I have ordered the simple Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED. I saw that in action at Keat and I was really impressed.

I just checked the price for Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED and I fell from my chair. I think I will go for CanoScan 8800F.

Thanks for the valuable input, uncle noordin. :)

just a tip. i noticed that you switch folm too much (almost as much as one change underwear). try to have at least one that you stick with so that you can understand the result and learn to anticipate it.

Haha. Ok-ok. Actually I saja-saja cuba-try-test and see which film that suit my way of shooting.
I find that Kodak Ultramax is good for people.
Mitsubishi MX200 is good for nature.
Fuji Superia is kinda in the middle. All around film.
After I'm done cuba-try-test, I will narrow it down to few films.
I still got Ilford Pan 400 to test and AGFA 100 too. :P

I see a dead fish!

I think I'm going to like the greens produced by films.

But I'm not too sure about the funky colours (film age or post processing). Either I will go all the way with that, or have non of that.

:)
