Place: Tmn Rimba Kiara, TTDI (Meet at the carpark)

Yes. turn in from Jln Damansara at Pizza Hut/Maxis then keep going till u see the tall building ie VADS. Tmn Rimba Kiara is immediately after that on the right.

If you have macro lens, can use that.
If you have Raynox, can use that.
If you have none of the above, just bring either 50mm or kitlens. I will lend you my Raynox or extension tube. :D

And yea, bring a styrofoam plate and cutter. Can use that to diffuse your light source.. and can use it to put your lunch afterwards. ;)

phew...I thought going to climb bukit kiara n go thru the forests (worst than bukit gasing) and hunt for insects....since this is the park...it's ok...

I too was once like you, hunger to join a macro outing, I suggesst the following equipments. You would highly unlikely hunger for anything else :p

Canon EOS 450D
Canon MT24EX
Canon MP-E65

It works, it works. Wow - look at the beautiful soft difussed light. And very cheap to make summore.

And with a multi-purpose mini tripod added too. Now I now who to scrounge ciggies from during macro outings. Must stick to you like a leech.

Aiseh..bad timing...tot i can finally use up my macro lens to join some TT but than tomorrow cannot..need to go to my office Futsal competition..not as player but photog...wonder my macro lens will work well in futsal event or not..i dun have telephoto or super telephoto lens...

hehe I never knew such people who bought lenses to be used during TT only...:P

what's your macro lens anyway? if it's Tamron SP90, just forget about shooting sports as you might need to use AF for it...and as for us who owns the lens, we swear by it that the lens AF really sucks!!!
