this is Penang Road. supposedly the main road of penang, but hor... given the right timing, can be made to look like some small town feel... Tronoh perhaps?

actually hor there are a lot of cars on the road. so have to wait for traffic light and the right motor bike. good thing abt shooting with those rf thingies, can keep the other eye open and watch out fot these things. oh ya, sometimes how also have to open ear to listen lo.

Oh ya, after the photowalk, I did some walking alone. Went to a few lorong. Along Penang Road, I saw this uncle at the news stand. He was reading a newspaper. So I thought of taking a photo. Well, guess what?

He scolded me and almost throw a newspaper at me!

but just buat muka tebal and go ahead.

there is actually something you can do. next time hor... just walk up to the subject and observe a while. and indirectly indicate that you like to ask permission for a shot. if granted then shoot and when you are done, say kamsiah lo.
if not granted then just move on lo.

at the end of the day, people like to have a choice (or the power to choose) if you give them, they are most probably ok to give you.

it's just like when you first experience a fender bender. for one week you will drive like a 50 year old ah ee. but after than you have to get up and drive.
