a picture of old women with heavy stuff on her back ( jual jamu ).. this pic was taken while i was in bandung, Indonesia..

Separation between FG & BG not pronounced. If u have moved to ur left would see a bit more of the old lady's face. Also if given more space on the left would make her lead into the frame/pic.

Do check out the tilted horizon as well.....

I kinda like it though :). Don't always get to plan what to leave in, what to leave out in street shot like this. It'll be better with proper cropping and darkening of the bright plant on the right :)

Something like this,...if you don't mind .

I think in this photo, separation between BG & FG is not needed.
The BG will give better depth on the story that one want to tell.
However, I do agree that the composition can be better.
And also I think, the contrast is a bit too high to my personal liking.

I love the contrast if only u can get a closer portrait of her. :D

I think the picture cropped like what OM had done is better as it leaves a space in front that leads the subject moving towards it. The highlight is too much on your pic, perhaps stepping it down a stop will bring out more midtone which is kinda lacking on your original pic... :)

Just to share my 2 cents...

oo, im using tamron 70-300mm, zooming from the other side of the road,, heheh,, i also think if i can shoot from different angle would be better.. thanx Mr Zamrud
