Good day all,
I'm looking into buying a set of entry level lighting for my company's product shoot and my boss asked me to enquire on ProPhoto ..
Google'd around and come across this company by the name of Direct Photo dealing with ProPhoto .. They seem to carry a comprehensive list of photography products ..
So happen they are quite near to my office but before I make any contact with them, I'm looking for some feedback from SA members regarding,
1) How competitive are they in pricing?
2) Do they provide good customer service?
3) Efficiency of the shop in warranty claim? Any idea on whether they will loan similiar product in case of warranty claim?
4) Who to look for?
5) Besides ProPhoto, any alternative brand with similiar pricing and performance?
Thanks!

Pro Foto is NOT entry level, it's top of the line, expect to pay at least 10k for a decent setup.
You can try Elinchrom or Bowens lower level sets for entry level, try Eng Tong in SS2 or Kings in Cheras.

Besides the product, info is needed on the supplier of the product in case of warranty claim .. As I don't have any dealings with them, I was hoping SA members could shed a light on them ..

Thanks for the info .. RM10k would be on the high side but if I can gather enough info on reliability of the product/the company that carries it and justify the purchase, I would be able to talk to him ..
Will appreciate feedback on customer service level of respective suppliers cos we had bad dealings with our supplier on warranty claims, delays after delays .. My boss would not want to go through all those hassle again cos once we invested into a set of lighting, we're would want it to be productive .. Thanks!
