The much anticiapted movie of the year is soon upon us...

I was wondering who here would like to join us to go as an Official ShutterAsia Movie Day...

We are looking to go on the 1st day of release. Will keep you all posted as more info comes in from cinema. Most likely GSC 1Utama.

After the first teaser trailer released last year, it stated the release date was july the 4th, which is independence day in america. Interesting that it's getting released here sooner. Since I'm on holiday I'll go watch at 11, nyeh nyeh nyeh. :D

Micheal Bay's a sellout to GM, he was probably offered a hefty sum of money from them in return for using their cars in the movie. Jazz is a pontiac soltice, not a 911. :mad:

Did you know that it's meant to be a low budget movie? It takes USD150mil to make and in the eye of steven spielberg and micheal bay, it's a low budget movie. pirates took USD300mil to make.

probably due to heavy casting in the pirates..... where else in transformer, the most expensive cast is probably optimus prime and i don't think his salary is as high as johnny depp's.

watched lastnight....damn good movie :drunk:...quite funny. only thing i don't like so much is the robot transformation bit fast and not clear

It was an AWESOME movie. It's a Transformers fan wet dream! :) I watched it on the 29th of June 3pm at cineleisure. The cinema was full of late 20s and early 30s guys like me, the Transformers generation. My wife told me her firm was devoid of guys after lunch on that day. Hehe...

And we burly guys squealed like little girls when we saw the first transformers transformed. We squealed again when they used the cartoon transforming sound. And we screamed and cheered when we saw Optimus Prime for the first time. Wooh.. what an amazing cinematic experience.

The whole cinema clapped and cheered when the movie ended. How often you see Malaysian audience do that?

Then I watched it again the following day... and again the following monday... planning to watch again next week... and probably catch it on IMAX too...

To everyone, watch it on the big screen with the big sound. This movie does not deserved to be watched on a camera captured pirated dvd with dark picture and tiny sound. WATCH IT IN CINEMA. You'll thank me later :)

P/S: Stay back for a while when the credits is rolling. There are THREE extra scenes interspliced with the credits.

I like the computer animation making the scene "when the trucks turn into a robot", so nice and fast. kind of advanced.
