Yes, this will be the last Manuel Librodo workshop to be organised by me…at least for this year. This time however it will be very different - it’ll be over 2 days (see schedule below), better structured, closer guidance by the instructors and handouts of the post-processing techniques.
Once again I’ll be bringing in the very talented Kharunisia as our model for the 2 days. Here are some images of Kharu.

Besides learning how to do a model shoot, you’ll learn how to find the appropriate available lighting, and the many interesting ways how to post-process your photos like so :

This time round there will be active participation from Manny’s assistant Aloha who will run Day 2 on Story telling aka Environmental Portraiture. Once again this is a targeted non-profit arrangement on my part with all workshop fees going to Manuel Librodo, Aloha and Kharunisia for them to travel to our homeland. With the active participation of Aloha it will also mean that this workshop has to be slightly more expensive from the last 2 workshops.
Here are the details :
Day 1 Saturday Aug 11th
Time : 8am - 12.30pm Model shoot with Kharu and 2.30-6.30pm post-processing workshop with Manuel Librodo (Aloha assisting)
Location : To be announced but it’ll be in the Klang Valley
Fees : RM650/participant
Day 2 Sunday Aug 12th
Time : 8am - 12.30pm Story-telling Portraiture with Aloha (Manuel Librodo assisting)
Location : Abandoned bungalow in PJ
Fees : RM 350/participant
Those who sign up for both will be given a RM50 discount.
As a comparison a half-day workshop in S’pore end of 2005 cost Sgd220 (RM500+).
I will have to collect full payment on confirmation as this is a non-profit arrangement on my part and I do not want last minute withdrawals to affect the progress of this workshop. Should anyone withdraw for whatever reasons after payment he has the right to get his own replacement as no refund will be entertained.
If you are keen please PM me. This is of course on a first-come-first serve basis. In your PM please indicate what you want to sign up for i.e Day 1, Day 2 or both.
