Where can I get the cheapest D80 in town?

Kit Set - RM 41xx

Packages - RM 43xx
2 Gb card + Tripod + UV protector + Camera bag

When I was searching for one some months back ... I actually looked almost at every shop in KL ... and the cheapest I found personally is at J-One, Amcorp Mall.

Pretty good service, and price already low enough that no major nego is required.

This shop offered me 1950

Now D80 3370 plus no extra charge for CC. U must tekan the uncle(half moon shape face). Ermm not kutuk him, very obvious the specky uncle has half moon shape face.

Try as long as u want. Until u satisfied (not like J-One, just point to the mirror and say "that D80 n that one is D40") so i asked what's the difference?? Then he just ignored. WTF!!!

Sb600- almost all the shop sells at 780. He sells at 745.

Tactics(threaten to go away or ask him keep his item back or u say u got better price in the forum). He will match the price or lower. JUST SAY UR PRICE!!!! Dun let him tell u the price instead!!!!

He NEVER charge me CC or whatsoever. Dun have to ask, he will not charge u!!! Dun open ur big mouth n ask whether got CC charges or not!!!!!!!!!

Had been surveying around the town and the "official" lowest price of a D80 + kit lens should be RM 4100.

This uncle gave me RM 4040. If I had known he plays such tactics, I wouldn't have been so straightforward with him. :mad: :(

yesterday i went to j-one they give me the price for d80+kit is 4100 and d40x+kit+2gb+tripod+bag is 2388.

My girlfriend got hers at J-One for RM18xx, but that was a month ago, not sure if promo is still on. It came with the standard free gifts as well - camera bag, tripod, 2GB SD Card.

Thx for the info, I saw in many forums said they can get as lowest as RM1650 in Tarita Sungai Wang but I'm not sure it's true or not. Also, some of them claims those D40s are from Japan. Mean import directly from Japan (Cheaper Cost).

Anyway, just call YL camera service. They offer me RM1800.

Tomorrow will goto J One to try my luck.

You must really know how to haggle to get a better price.... I am not a good haggler so I end up paying more for the accesories that I bought at J1 ... Sigh...
