Battery Question

How many shot u can do with the full charge of ori/compatible battery using 350D?

mine can go up to 250shots only, without flash. Is that normal?
This will be like after I finish a 1GB card, I need to change batt already.;)

If a new battery....brand new. I can shoot more than 500 photos on my 30D Fine jpeg or 2 pc of 1gb.

The think is battery care. Have another on standby. Even on a battery grip, use one till it finished/flat and then use the spare one.

However, if your lens go IS, it drains very fast if your finger on trigger.

I think if your lens always sound "zoom-in" "zoom-out", it will consume alot of battery.. :rolleyes:

I only think if you zoom in a zoom out with a stabilised lens and with a speedlite tracking distance, it might reduce a little bit of your battery...

But shooting with a speedlite - I don't normally run out of battery.. a 350D user shoots like that, only recharges normally after 800-1000 shots

Hi, using 350D also. No flash can shot around at least 700-800. Then again, i guess mine's still new, just 2-3 months old. :)

Ori las longer... my non-ori batter last less than half the ori battery...

Personally, not going to bother with non-ori batteries anymore... no juice and not worth saving a few bucks, with less than optimal results...

I have 1 DigiPro battery (same capacity as the original) that came in the package when I bought my camera from Key Color, and 2 Camera Devices batteries (800mAh) that I bought online.

Been using them for more than half a year, so far no problem. They perform more or less the same as my original. I get at least 500+ shots with each battery (always lost count after 500+). :)

I'm thinking of getting a spare battery for the Canon 5D/30D.

Can you Canon sifu's share with me about how much is :-
a) an original Canon battery
b) a compatible battery

today finally got the chance to shoot a lot of pic.

A battery that I charge it over night, let me shoot 1300+ of RAW, even it show only one bar at the battery status.

1300+ and it still kicking!

I used 1 ori canon battery and 1 oem battery in a battery grip on my 30D. I've shot 1800 jpeg once and battery indicator still show full bar..... I've never turn off my IS....
