Just a share of info for those flying soon. Reeived this info from my travel agency.
Effective 01 April 2007, Malaysia Airport Berhad (MAB) will impose restrictions on carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) in cabin bags for all international flights departing from Malaysia Airports.
Specific regulations:
1) Passengers are only allowed to carry LAGs or other similar consistency in containers with a capacity not exceeding 100ml. LAGs carried in containers larger than 100ml are not acceptable, even if the container is partially filled.

3) Only one transparent bag is permitted per passenger. The bag must be removed from the cabin baggage and presented to security personnel at the security checkpoint for separate x-ray screening.
Medications and special dietary requirements, including baby formula:
1) Are permitted in cabin baggage.
2) Must be removed from cabin baggage and declared to security personnel at the checkpoint.
3) Customers with prescription medicine are advised to bring along supporting documentation (e.g. ID cards, letters from doctors)
Duty-free purchases:
1) Liquids, aerosols and gels purchased from duty-free shops in Malaysian airports, located after security screening points, will be allowed onboard.
2) However, these items must be packed in a transparent, sealed plastic bag. Receipts of the purchased duty free items must be attached or enclosed in the bag.
