Shaolin Tiger...that's how I found out about this forum. I hope this place will encourage learning & exploration. The other forums failed because it was clique-kish, and there was too much "Rock Star" worshipping for the so-called "SIFUs". There is no need for ass-kissing, just great attitude and hunger to learn for a forum to excel.

All the best folks.

P.S. You can get the PDF version...perhaps from Chris Chong or if you subscribe to the e-version of The Star :)

This will certainly boost SA's presence in the virtual community! Good job, ST!

Thanks Louis, and welcome to SA :)

That's exactly the attitude we are trying to get away from, someone more open and horizontal like the European/US sites and communities like Flickr.

More meritocracy and less cronyism :D

Thanks Chuah...very kind of you. Pls..."Louis" will do. There is no need for "guru", "sifu" or any kind of titles. We are here to share and learn.

Fully agreed with u ST and Louis.

It is a common platform for us to share and improve ourself together, not a place for hero and cronyism.

Haha...couldn't agree more with Louis' comments. So many self-appointed "sifus" in the other Forums.

Due to my hectic schedule, I only "stumbled" onto this thread now... congrats SA... and hope u will never become like "them" someday. :p

I feel left out for a while about this good news since I was away in Europe and Africa on business trip...anyway SA is now become the talk of the town but it only makes more sense and meaningful if TT for SA members can be held more regularly with the presence of ST himself as the founder ...more meeting more contacts...more contacts more knowledge in photography especially, etc....

YEAH!!!! I 100% agree with Louis Pang! The photgraphy forum should be a place where the unexpert learn from the expert! Not the place where the expert 'hentam' the unexpert when he/she asked some questions! Am I right??
