View Full Version : nikon or sigma ring flash?

i am wondering which one works better. from the looks the sigma seems nicer cause the nikon looks like having to big thing on the side. anyone has any comments which one is better n why?:?

Nikon too have the ring flash. But that model has been replaced by the R1C1. This unit is so much more flexilbe than the ring flash. Ring flash is old technology. Think about that. :D

so the two flash thing should be better than the ring flash...ermm will consider it again. thinking ahead duno which micro lens to buy so divert my attention to flash awhile..hehe

I have the R1C1 but I seldom use. Caveman the macro sifu is using R1C1 set up for his lovely pictures. Ask him if you need any clarification.

Not advised as you will get shadow from the lens.

The Sigma comes with wired trigger anyway and R1C1 comes with SU-800 to trigger.
