I love my wideangle lens. The next best option from fisheyes. I've been fooling around with shooting angles and I quite like the idea of seeing things from a different angle.

Check out these photos for instance:

Both shots taken with Canon 1D Mark II with 400mm f2.8 lens.

Oooo.. when u guys bought a MK2 and the giant 400 2.8? :tongue_roll: Btw images are soft for a 400 2.8. :0 That giant is a pin-sharp lens!

1st training pix, would be better if the dude was looking up rather then his eyes close. M sure in 8 frames or more, one of them is looking up. hehehe.. Would prefer both pix to be in a tighter drop.

Just my 2 cents ;)

Yet another photo of my favourite Referees warming up shot. This time I added a special filter to make it more dramatic. I like :D

err bro, dont u think the pics a little bit soft for a such great equipments?Maybe these are straight from the camera without any PP at all?;)Why? You think most PJs only publish PP'ed shots ar? It happens, but it's rare. And they're usually fired.

Why? You think most PJs only publish PP'ed shots ar? It happens, but it's rare. And they're usually fired.

That's not true...

They are only fired if they change the scene, e.g. add or remove something.

Many PJ's do curves/levels/sharpening.

Especially sharpening as RAW output from cameras is intentionally soft so as to retain maximum detail. If with jpeg sharpening settings it's not optimal.

Plus how do you think modern PJ's get B&W pictures? Yeah that's right, through digital post processing.

No such thing as B&W from the camera, the RAW is captured in full colour, if you set B&W in the cam it's just desaturating blindly to a jpeg.

Nothing wrong with it either, it only brings better pics, not worse ;)
