Starting 31 August is a photo shoot that will last for one year. The Festivalfoto Project objects are to encourage all Malaysian and foreign photographers to photograph the festivals of Malaysia. Any one can enter, there is no charge, and submit up to three photographs per festival.
To date we have identified 115 festivals in Malaysia.
Our website www.festivalfotoproject.com (http://www.festivalfotoproject.com) will be up at the end of the month when photographers can register.
The company behind this project is Photo Projects Sdn Bhd, which is a JV company with the Ministry of Tourism. This is a community-based project so we are looking for photographers, writers etc, who can spare some time to join our Team
At the end of the project we will be publishing three books.
The copyright of submitted photographs remains with the photographer.
