Hollister Indipendance Day Rally held every July 4th weekend in a small town of Hollister California made infamous by the Brando movie of 1947 where the Hells Angels came and spend a week of R and R ending up trashing the town of ... you guessed it Hollister. It's a great place to visit during this weekend if you are diehard Mat Moto and not you average Harley Kapchai type. I mean the OCC type. Here a images captured during my yearly pilgrimage since I am a diehard Mat (Ah Chong) Moto. Image captured with the D1x that I've not yet mastered the settings. I usually shoot with the 30D. Any hoo as they say...

I have more image captured but unfortunately they turned out not very well. I had unintentionally set the ISO multiplier up by 2x and all shots turned out too grainy. Two more for this series.

Harley Davidson Road King with matching side car ... "Who said that girls can't ride"

BTW the rear tire is a 360 if you were wondering :tongue_roll:

Monster was in the build process that the vendor so proudly present to the public even before it's completed. Notice the wooden block under the frame to keep it up right.

When it comes to choppers, I like Russel Mitchell's work though he builds old school styled bikes =D

I don think that monster is fully done yet right?
I don even think there is someone who will ride on it too... lol 1100cc on such a low bike... wonder if someone with weak heart can take the G when its moving or not.... lol

Nice pics on the monster though... the concept of the bike's built is very nice... :D
