Holla!
I'm bringing you guys an oppurtunity to participate in a photoshoot session which will be based on conceptual themes (details as follow). This will be an outdoor photo shoot exclusively for ShutterAsia members only.

Theme : Petaling Street Shootout! & Star LRT Madness!
Date: 11th August 2007
Time: 8.00am *punctuality is important since this is gonna be more or less a half day event.*
Location: Outdoor (at Petaling Street and its vicinity, and also onboard moving StarLRT with stops on station)
Model/Talent: Ms. Stephenie Gregory & Ms. Eelaine Boo
Organiser: Ah Jay on behalf of ShutterAsia
Limited Seat: 10 spaces with 5 photogs per model per session.
Price: RM60 / pax
Objective: To enjoy/share photography experience with on-location scene with model photoshoot.

*Propriety rights of images of this event will belong to the photographer. However, there is a request that every photographer will need to burn all images in JPEG format onto a CD and provide it to the models in the upcoming TT session after the shooting date.

This is a non profit event, so the pool of money will be used to pay to model and their MUA, covers for everyone's LRT trip, and also an economical Teh Tarik Session after the shooting event! :) Any extra monies will be refunded of course! Participating fees can be paid to me via maybank2u (will provide my account number later).

Also, I will post up on the event pre-planned schedule in a while more so that you guys will have more info on this.

Dont worry la... the reason why I just wanna do with 2 models first is becuz we can all handle better communication with each other. Too many people later become havoc plaks. sum more this is the first time I'm organizing this kinda event... so please bear with me ok :) what I want for all of us to get is quality images, not quantitatively in numbers... which personally, I think such numbers would be optimal.

Like I said before, for those who miss this oppurtunity, dun worry - cuz there will be more photoshoots to come in future.

ANYONE WITH LESS THAN THE STATED AMOUNT OF POSTINGS WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE LIST BY THEN. THEIR SLOT WILL THEN BE OPEN TO MEMBERS WHO ARE IN THE WAITING LIST.

Haha thanks ST for making it clear. I'm not personally imposing the limits to the numbers in the waiting list... as there is no point in doing so.

As a matter of fact, I would appreciate it if those who are interested to put their names in the waiting list. This could be a very useful info for me to plan future model shoot (more people means more models could be invited :) ). But like what ST has pointed out, please do observe the above stated pre-requisites. This is so that we could provide a better and fairer chance for those members, who have been actively supporting ShutterAsia and any affiliated events.

its different to shoot with flash and without flash.
sometimes, even under conditions where natural light is there, i still do use flash to fill in shadows. this is NOT A PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP... this is merely a get-together photoshoot event with fellow shutterasia members, exchange ideas, share shooting techniques etc etc.

so if you can get your hands on a flash gun... grab it :D
