We won the Asian Junior Badminton Championships finals by beating China but lost to Iran in the AFC Asian Cup Group C match. Our shuttlers made us proud but our footballers made us even “more proud” (shamefull). :0

other south east asian teams have improved by leaps and bounds and our team is going backwards. look at thailand and indonesia for example. i followed a few of the indon games and my word , those guys gave the saudis and koreans a good run for their money.
imagine not too long ago , malaysia was mentioned in the same breath as korea and the other giants of asian football....sigh...santokh singh, the late mokhtar dahri, soh chin aun aka towkay, wong choon wah, lim fung kee and chow chee keong( both rated best goalkeepers in SEA and possibly asia) namat abdullah, shukor salleh, the late arumugam, m chandran and many others....where or where are players of this calibre now:(
