Live Photography Contest

Time : 9.00am - 11.30am
Venue : Lost World Of Tambun, Sunway City, Ipoh.

1st Prize : Canon EOS DSLR Camera 400D Kit +

2nd Prize : Canon Camera IXUS 70 + Certificate.

10 Consolations : CF Memory Card Ultra II 1GB +

Rules & Regulation
1. This photography contest is open to foreign
tourists and Malaysia photography enthusiasts who must
register at Lost World of Tambun, Sunway City, Ipoh
during the photography session together with a payment
of registeration fee of RM10 per person.
2. a) Registered participating photographers can use
analog/conventional cameras with color film or
use digital cameras to capture the models with
RAW/JPEG file and then burn/save the captured
original images on CD
b) Entries for this contest must be printed on
Color
Photo Paper of size 8" x 12" and mounted on
black
cardboard with 1 inch border all-round.
c) Submission of this contest must be accompanied
with original negatives, slides or CD with the
original images captured in RAW or JPEG file,
affixed on the back of the cardboard.
d) Digital image manipulations which after/change
or misrepresent the true situation or content
of the images originally captured on film or
digitally in JPEG file are strictly unacceptable
Enhancement of a photo shall be confined only to
plus or minus on color saturation, contrast and
brightness.
3. The aspect of photography for this contest is
Portraiture and therefore, partial sharpening or
softening is strictly probibited.
4. Any number of entries may be submitted, but each
entrant must submit at least 3 entries of different
models.
5. Every entry submitted must be accompanied with a
completed entry form affixed on the back of the
Cardboard. Photocopy of entry form is acceptable.
6. Judging will be based on content, compositon,
color, control of lighting, creativity and the charm &
beauty of the models captured on location.
7. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes must be of different
models and won by different contestants, but there is
no restriction to the 5 merit and 10 consolation
prizes.
8. The organizing committe and judges reserve the
rights to disqualify entries which do not comply with
the Rules & Regulations of the contest.
9. Entries of photographs submitted with film and CD
are non-returnable and shall remain the property of
the Organizer who reserves the right to reproduce,
publish or exhibit them for advertising or promotion
proposes without notification or payent to hte
entrants.
10. The closing date for this contest is 3rd August
2007, Friday at 5.00pm.
11. Judging will be held on 7th August 2007, Tuesday
at 7.00pm at St.Michael's Church Activity Centre, 24,
(1st floor), Jalan Church, Ipoh.
12. The organizer shall not be held responsible for
entries damaged or lost through the post.
13. The decision of the Panel of Judges is final and
any dispute or appeal will not be entertained.
14. By taking part in this Live Photo Session, the
participants agreed that they cannot use the captured
images for the purpose of publicity, website or
e-mail.
